Engineer, author and educator – these are the hallmarks of Kevin O’Donnell’s 32 year career in packaging, logistics and supply chain within the pharmaceutical industry O’ Donnell is widely considered a thought-leader and global advocate for implementing good cold-chain distribution practices for healthcare products. His expertise in cold chain management throughout both the US and Europe lead to him being elected to become a member of the United States Pharmacopeia Expert Committee on Packaging, Storage and Distribution His involvement with industry spans such organizations as the World Health Organization, the Parenteral Drug Association, as a founding member of the PCCIG, co-author of Technical Report #39 and he was also Chair of the International Air Transport Association, IATA Time and Temperature Task Force.
